For hospital discharges the closest acute sites on the HSE list are Naas General Hospital and Tallaght University Hospital. Palliative care in the area is provided by St Brigid's Hospice Kildare and Kildare and West Wicklow Community Specialist Palliative Care Team. An agency here may find that more of its calls come after the working day, when relatives get home and read the rota. Celbridge is 16 km away, Maynooth is 19 km: for a rota planner the whole cluster is one patch.
